Job Description Summary This position performs a full range of asset management functions and Geographic Information System (GIS) duties; prepares, formats and transfers asset engineering data from completed projects to appropriate stakeholders and databases, serves as a system matter expert responsible for analyzing, designing, implementing and improving work flow processes for asset management and GIS tasks. Work is performed under limited supervision.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education and Experience:

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Work Environment: 90% of the time is spent inside a climate controlled building and 10% of the time is spent verifying field conditions associated with asset data collection. Physical Requirements: Mobility to work in a typical office setting, ability to use standard office equipment and stamina to sit for extended periods of time; strength to lift and carry up to 20 pounds; vision to read printed materials; hearing and speech to communicate in person or over the telephone; tolerance to exposure to traffic conditions and external environment when traveling from one office to another. Sensory Requirements: Hearing: Ability to understand what others are saying in normal conversation and on the telephone. Speaking: Ability to communicate orally with others and speak effectively on the telephone. Seeing: Ability to see and read blueprints, computer monitor screens, read fine print, and drive a motor vehicle. Driving Requirements: The work requires occasional driving and possession of a valid Florida Driver's License. Technology: The work requires ability to operate telephones, smart phones, tablets, photocopiers, printers, desktop, laptop computers, calculators and all associated software. The work also requires proficiency with computer hardware and software programs including word, spreadsheet and/or database applications, internet applications, and database management includingenterprise asset management systems, photographic imaging, geographic information systems, and routing software.
